Policy Owner Resources

Policy owners should refer to the resources on this page when creating or revising University policies.  Effective 9/13/2018, all new and/or revised policies must be submitted for review and approval as outline below.

Complete a Policy Submission Sponsor Form and send it electronically to Melanie.Savino@uconn.edu.

For a New Policy:
Email a “DRAFT” copy of the new policy in the required Policy Template to Melanie Savino at melanie.savino at least two weeks prior to the date you would like to present the policy to the Administrative Policy Committee. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month.

For a Revised Policy:
Submit a red-lined version of the policy to be revised, showing the tracked policy change, as well as the revised policy in the required Policy Template to melanie.savino@uconn.edu at least two weeks prior to the date you would like to present the policy to the Administrative Policy Committee.   Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month.
